Maintenance

Steel tanks have to be wiped and washed with freshwater very frequently to protect it from rust. On the other hand, poly tanks have a self-cleaning system that keeps the inner tank clean. It is also less expensive to maintain a poly tank over a steel tank.

If you want to fill them up all at the same time, open all the valves. Otherwise, it will fill one at a time by closing all the other valves and keeping one of them open. Similarly, you can access water either from one tank at a time or all at the same time.

Connecting Tanks At The Bottom

The second method you can try is to connect them from the bottom. In this method, the connected tanks will get filled and emptied at the same level. The water tanks get filled up one by one. Remember to align the overflow level of each tank with each other. As one tank gets filled, the water reaches the pipe link and start filling the second one and so on.
