Distance From The Ground

The tank should be placed at least two feet above the uppermost slab as it enables the pressure of water flow in a better way. The tank must not be in direct touch with the roof slab as it can cause dampness in the building.

Material

During old times, cement water tanks were quite common. Today people are moving to plastic water storage tanks.
