Different commercial places have different types of needs for water usage. Some commercial places might only require water every day for eight to nine hours only for a handful of people. On the other hand, commercial places like factories might require water in gallons every day to do their work. But whatever your requirement of water is you cannot work without water. Sometimes, only one tank of water of the largest capacity might not be enough. Places where food production is done, water is the most essential element to run the place smoothly. So, in such cases, you might need multiple numbers of commercial water storage tanks. But after buying them, you will need to connect them all together. There are two ways you can do that.
Connecting Tanks From The Top
If you want to link the tanks together, you can do that from the top of the tanks. You will need to connect them through the overflow of all the tanks. When the water is filled in the first tank, it overflows and then start filling up the second tank with the help of the inlet and so on. So, when you connect all of them through the inlet, you need to make sure that the last tank has an overflow. Also, the opening of the inlet and the overflow must be of the same size. To ensure smooth operation, the first tank needs to be in a higher position than the second one and the second one should be in a higher position than the third one and so on. If you want to fill them up all at the same time, open all the valves. Otherwise, it will fill one at a time by closing all the other valves and keeping one of them open. Similarly, you can access water either from one tank at a time or all at the same time.
Connecting Tanks At The Bottom
The second method you can try is to connect them from the bottom. In this method, the connected tanks will get filled and emptied at the same level. The water tanks get filled up one by one. Remember to align the overflow level of each tank with each other. As one tank gets filled, the water reaches the pipe link and start filling the second one and so on.
You can call a professional to connect all the commercial water storage tanks, or you can do it yourself with the given steps.
